I had the best workout in a very long time today. I didn’t lift any heavier weights or even start a new program. I just took my workout outside!
Wow, was that invigorating. It was fabulous. The fresh air, the kids throwing snow balls at me between each set, the openness of the environment, made it feel like I was on the top of my game. What a great feeling to walk away from a finished workout; tired, exhausted, but already excited about the next workout.
My workout today involved Kettle bells so it was easy to bring it outside. I suggest everyone take their workouts outdoors as soon as they can.
